Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) is Coming to Santa Clara County!
Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) is excited to expand our existing Youth Climate Collective (YCC) program into Santa Clara County and to the students in frontline communities who have been historically underrepresented in the youth climate movement.
-
YCC is a paid six-month-long educational program that promotes youth engagement (teenagers to young adults) and leadership in climate justice and environmental topics
-
This program will take place from Spring to Fall (April - September) 2024
-
Students will meet every other week on Saturdays from 9am - 4pm
What is San Jose Conservation Corps and Charter School (SJCC+CS)?
SJCC+CS is a nonprofit organization that provides youth from the ages of 17 ½ - 27 with a quality high school education and teaches valuable work and life skills that empower them to become responsible, productive, and caring citizens.

The program also develops young adults to create transformational change for the community and the planet by engaging them in environmental projects such as creek restoration, recycling, urban forestry, and tiny home construction.
Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action
Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action empowers teens and young adults to combat climate change now through impactful education & policy initiatives. Our youth work on focused climate action teams to ensure important climate policy and measures are supported at every level, including locally, regionally and statewide.
Youth at SVYCA learn deeply about climate policy, build relationships with key climate stakeholders like elected officials and climate tech leaders, and gain exposure to climate career pathways across multiple industries and disciplines.
